I am a native
of Columbus, Ohio, and a recent graduate from Denison University with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training and Sports Management. I played Varsity
Volleyball as an Outside Hitter all four years at Denison, and in 2007, I lead
my team and the NCAC conference in kills and points scored, and was recognized
on the NCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team.
Before Denison,
I graduated from Bishop Ready High School in 2005, where I played Varsity
Volleyball, Basketball, and Track and Field all four years, and was named
Division III Second Team All-District (2004) in volleyball, and participated in
the District 10 All Star Classic in Basketball (2005). During my four years in
high school, I also played club volleyball at the national level for Central
Ohio Volleyball Club (2005), Matchpoint (2004), and Cap City Volleyball Club
(2003).

This past spring, I coached for
Central Ohio Volleyball Club, where I was the assistant coach for the 18 age
group National Team. During my senior year at Denison, I was one of the Strength
and Conditioning Coach’s assistants where I helped run daily activities in the
weight room and sports facility with the different Varsity teams. My first three
years at Denison, I worked in the Athletic Training Room and assisted athletes
with different sports-related medical treatments and rehabilitation exercises.
These days, I am currently working part time for an Executive Recruiting Firm
located in Dublin, OH.
Some of my other interests besides
volleyball are traveling, playing tennis, rock climbing, weight training, and
numerous other physical activities. My entire family, besides my immediate
family, live in Europe, and I have traveled there numerous times, mostly
throughout Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy, and Austria. I was raised
speaking three different languages fluently (Polish, Slovak, and English), and
continue to speak those everyday.
I have been involved with
volleyball since the 4th grade and have enjoyed my time as a player
and so far as a coach, and would love to continue my involvement in the sport
for as long as I can!
